T. oil
1 cup rice
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 1/4 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 chicken bouillon cube (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat a tbsp. of oil and brown 1 cup rice in pan. Add 1/2 cup chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add 2 1/4 cups water, salt & pepper, and 1/2 can tomato sauce, and 1 chicken bouillon cube (optional). Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low and cook 20 minutes until done.
