7 oz uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 c. Butter
3 tbl flour
2 c. Milk
8 oz package cream cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp country style Dijon mustard
2 c. Shredded or cubed cheddar cheese
1 c. Plain bread crumbs
2 tbl butter

Preheat oven to 400

Cook macaroni according to directions. In 3 quart saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour. Cook over medium heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly. Stir in milk, cream cheese, salt, pepper and mustard. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until sauce is thickened. Stir in macaroni and cheese. Pour into 2 qt. casserole. In small bowl stir together butter and bread crumbs, sprinkle over macaroni. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
