2 lbs (1 kg) Dark Brown Sugar
4 Cups White Sugar
1 lb. Margarine
1 doz, Eggs
8 tsp Baking Soda
18 cups Big Flaked Oatmeal
1 lb Chocolate Chips
1 lb Smarties or Reeses Pieces
1 tbsp, Corn Syrup
3 lbs (1.5 kg) Peanut Butter
1 tbsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Margarine and Sugars. Add Eggs and beat until smooth. Add Corn Syrup, Peanut Butter and Vanilla. Combine Baking Soda, Oatmeal, Smarties and add to Peanut Butter mixture.

Droop by Tablespoons (or larger) on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 minutes at 350.

I usually mixed this in my large roasting pan. It was the only thing I had large enough,

These were Grandad's favorites. He could just go to the freezer and grab one.

I remember making these with Nan right after her stroke. Her hands didn't work very good and the spatula slipped when she was mixing, We had oatmeal and smarties everywhere,
