4 Cups of Water
1/3 Cup of Ground Flaxseed
¼ Lime with rind if your blender is powerful enough
1 Large Banana, or 1 ½ Medium Bananas, or 2 Small Bananas, frozen is better
4 Cups of Mixed Greens, some ideas:
Kale, any variety
Swiss Chard, any variety
Arugula, it's spicy
2 Cups or so of your favorite Fruit (frozen or fresh), some ideas:
1 Whole Juicy Orange
Sometimes I add a few carrots too.
It really depends on what you have in the house, and what you can get fresh from your local farmers' market or store.
If the texture/consistency is not to your liking, you can add some plain, organic yogurt, or almond milk to smooth it out!
