Crust:
cup margarine
⅓ cup sugar
teaspoon vanilla or almond flavoring
1 cup flour

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
cup sugar
1 egg
teaspoon vanilla or almond flavoring

Topping:
⅓ cup sugar
teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups peeled & sliced apples
cup sliced walnuts or almonds

Crust:

Cream margarine, sugar & vanilla. Blend in flour. Spread dough onto bottom and sides of 9 springform pan (or pie plate)

Filling:

Combine softened cream cheese & sugar, mix well. Add egg & vanilla. Mix well. Pour into pastry lined pan.

Topping:

Combine sugar & cinnamon. Toss apples in sugar & cinnamon. Spoon apple mixture over filling. Sprinkle with nuts.

Bake at 450 for 25 minutes. Cool.
