2 c 500 mL Flour
1 tsp 5 mL Salt
2 tsp 10 mL Baking Powder
2 T 30 mL Lard
3/4 c 175 mL Warm Water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375* F. Grease pan
2. Mix Flour, Salt and Baking Powder
3. Cut in flour until no lumps remain
4. Mix in water and form mixture into a ball
5. Knead, adding flour as necessary, until it is no longer sticky.
6. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

Bannock may be rolled on a stick and baked over a fire, too.
Bannock is sometimes made with yeast and deep fried
