1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 t. cinnamon
2 cups raw oatmeal
1/2 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add vanilla and beaten eggs. Sift dry ingredients all together, then add to sugar and shortening. Add oats and nuts and mix together with other ingredients. Bake at 350 until lightly browned, or approximately 15 minutes.
