4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. allspice
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups applesauce
2 tbsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, applesauce and vanilla; add dry ingredients just until moistened. (You can put in raisins if you want) Fill ungreased or paper-lined muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
