3 cups flour
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 cups chopped apples

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, sugar and margarine. Blend until crumbly, stir in nuts. Press 2 1/4 cups of crumb mixture into ungreased 9x13 pan. Add the rest of the ingredients to the remaining crumb mixture, adding apples last. Spread evenly over crumbs and bake 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
