2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 (17 oz) fruit cocktail, undrained
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (6 oz) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except chocolate pieces and nuts. Blend well at lowest speed; beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate and nuts. Bake 35-40 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into serving pieces.
