3 cups cut broccoli
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cup milk
1 (10 3/4 oz) can chicken broth
4oz. (1 cup) cubed American cheese
1-1/2 tsp prepared mustard or less

Directions:
Directions:
Add onion to broccoli and, if frozen, cook broccoli according to package directions. If fresh broccoli is used, cook until tender; drain, In medium saucepan melt the margarine. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Add milk gradually; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add broccoli and remaining ingredients. Cook until cheese is melted.
