3 T. butter
3 T. oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. mixed mushrooms
3 c. chicken broth
1/4 cup white port
2 T. tomato paste
1/2 c. parsley, minced
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and oil in large saucepan. Saute garlic and onion slowly over low heat, ten minutes. Add sliced mushrooms, cover and cook over medium heat five minutes. Add broth, port and tomato paste, simmer ten minutes. Add parsley and freshly ground pepper.
