3 c Cooked Wild Rice (Uncle Ben's original with Seasoning pkt)
1 Onion, chopped
2 Carrots, chopped
2 ribs Celery, chopped
4 c Cooked, Cubed Chicken
1 50 oz. or 2 26 oz. Can of Cream of Chicken Soup
3 c Water
3 c Milk
1/2 c Slivered Almonds
2-4 tbsp. Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Prepare wild rice as directed on box. In a 4 to 5 quart soup kettle, saute onion, celery, carrots and chicken in butter for about 3-5 minutes, or until vegetables have softened slightly and chicken is lightly browned. Add almonds, cream of chicken soup, water and milk. Stir until mixture is well blended. Add the wild rice ad adjust seasonings as desired. Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
