3/4 c Vegetable Shortening
1 c firmly packed Brown Sugar
1/2 c White Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Water
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c Flour
3 c rolled Oats
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Beat together sugar, shortening, egg, water and vanilla until creamy
Add combined remaining ingredients
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet
Bake for 12-15 minutes
