Ingredients:  
1 c shortening
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
2 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
1 1/2 c M & M's
Plain chocolate candy- such as candy stars

Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening, brown sugar and white sugar in large bowl. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining dry ingredients and add to sugar-egg mixture. Stir in 1/2 c candy. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased Cookie sheet. Decorate tops with remaining candy. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
