1 cups all purpose flour

3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

teaspoon salt

1 beaten egg

cup milk

cup cooking oil

Directions:
In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in center of dry mixture and set aside.

In a small mixing bowl combine egg, milk and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to dry mixture. Stir just until moistened. Batter should be lumpy.

Spoon batter into greased muffins cups, filling each 2/3 full. Bake in a 400d degree oven about 20 minutes or until golden. Cool in muffin cups on a rack 5 minutes. Remove from muffin cups. Serve warm.

I make use of lots of add ins when I make these. Cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, apples and cinnamon, blackberries, bananas, walnuts, almonds, etc. Use your imagination and see how yummy you can make them!
