2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs
4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 heaping tbsp. flour
1/2 stick butter
4 frozen pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Beat sugar and eggs together in a bowl. Mix milk, flour and butter in a boiler on stove top for about 5 minutes, then add the eggs and sugar. Cook on medium heat (stirring continuously) until butter melts completely. Add vanilla. Pour mixture into the pie crust and bake 40 minutes at 350 or until pie crust turns golden brown.

This is my Mamaw Kennedy's recipe. She just mixed ingredients together and would not measure. It took a while to get the exact recipe... My "Kennedy" side of the family loved these pies... We make several of these during the Holidays.
