2 c. self rising cornmeal
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1/4 c. oil
water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornmeal, buttermilk, egg and oil together. Add enough water to make the batter pour easy. Pour mixture into a greased iron skillet and bake at 450 for 20 minutes.
Note -Heat the skillet (with a little oil in skillet) up while preparing mixture. Then add to hot skillet. It just seems to taste better :)
