2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 stick butter
6 c. of miniature marshmellows
1 tsp. of vanilla
12 oz. jar of crunchy peanut butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, milk, and butter into a pot on stovetop. Continuously stir for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add peanut butter, marshmellows, and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into buttered dish. Cut into squares when cool.

I watched Grandmother make this candy on two separate occasions. She measured the marshmellows by handfuls and cooked on a gas stove. After several failed attempts on my part, my daughters found the exact amount of marshmellows needed.
