1 pound bulk sausage
8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded (2 cups)
1 medium-size onion very finely chopped (½ cup)
2 teaspoons liquid red pepper seasoning
3 cups buttermilk baking mix (Bisquick)



Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Break up sausage in a medium-size bowl.

Add cheese, onion, red pepper seasoning and baking mix. Work mixture with your hands until thoroughly combined.

Shape mixture by level tablespoonsful into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased 15 X 10 X 1 inch jelly-roll pans. Flatten slightly.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

TO FREEZE: Cool biscuits thoroughly on wire racks. Freeze in a single layer on cookie sheets. Transfer to freezer container or wrap in aluminum foil.

TO REHEAT: Heat on jelly-roll pans or cookie sheets in preheated hot oven for 15 minutes or until piping hot.
