Bread cubes.................................8 cups
butter ...........................................3/4 cup melted
onion............................................1 1/2 cup chopped fine
celery...........................................1 cup chopped fine
Sausage.......................................1 lb. browned
ground pork.................................. "some"
Poultry seasoning......................... 2 tsp.
parsley.......................................... 2 tbsp. chopped
salt.................................................1 tsp.
pepper...........................................1/2 tsp.
turkey stock...................................1 cup
egg................................................1 slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and saute onion and celery. Add browned sausage meat and browned pork. Toss to combine. Remove from heat and add bread crumbs, seasonings, stock and beaten egg. Mix well. you can stuff turkey and let it cook inside or bake in buttered casserole dish at 350 for 1 hour.

This recipe is forgiving. You can use poultry sausage if you desire. Remove casing when browning or buy without casing. Ground pork is optional. Grandma always uses it but I have made it without and was still delicious. Chicken broth can be substituted for turkey broth. You can add more if cooking in casserole to keep moist. Do this halfway through cooking.
