Notes: Frances was one of Bob (Robert Butler) Mealing's daughters. She lived across from us on Martintown Road until she moved to Winston-Salem in her latter years to be closer to her daughter, Ellen Corbett, and her family.
Our cousin Frances, was well-known for many wonderful dishes, and especially for these cookies. Bake a batch and your whole house will smell like Christmas - any season of the year.
