1 pound dried apricots cut
1 quart water
1 #2 can shredded pineapple
1/2 tsp salt
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash the apricots. Add water, cover and let stand overnight. Cook the apricots and water until the fruit is tender. Press through a colander. Combine the apricots, pineapple and salt. Measure. Add 3/4 as much sugar as fruit. Cook until a drop of the mixture stiffens when cooled on a saucer. Pour into sterilized pint jars. Seal with sterilized lids.
