12 large cabbage leaves, set aside rest of cabbage head
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup milk
¼ cup onion, diced finely
1 tsp. salt(optional)
¼ tsp. black pepper
¾ cup white minute rice, dry
1- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
2 T. brown sugar
2 T. lemon juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Immerse cabbage leaves in a large kettle of boiling water, for about 3 minutes, drain and set aside. In
medium bowl, combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and rice. Place about ¼ cup mixture in center of each cabbage leaf, fold in sides and roll up over meat. Place left over cabbage in bottom of crock pot, place cabbage rolls on top. In small bowl combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook 7 to 9 hours on low. Or bake in a 13x9
baking dish in oven at 350º for 1 hour, uncovered.
Makes about 12 rolls.
