1 gallon chopped cabbage
1/2 gallon chopped green tomatoes
1 dozen onions
6 sweet green pepper chopped
6 sweet red pepper chopped
1 gallon vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp ground mustard
6 tbsp white mustard seed
3 tbsp celery seed
1 tbsp clove (tied in bag)

Mix cabbage,tomatoes, onions and peppers. Place in enamel pan or stone jar. Put in layer of vegetables and sprinkle well with salt. Layer until all vegetables gone.Let stand over night.
Heat all other ingredients to boiling.Add the well drained vegetables and cook slowly until tender.(30 min). Put in jars and process with water bath canner for 10 minutes.
