24 chicken wings (about 4 lbs)
salt and pepper
4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2-5 T. hot pepper sauce
1 T. white vinegar

Directions:
Cut main wing joint and discard wing tips. Wash and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat oil. when quite hot, add half of the wings and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When golden brown and crisp, remove and drain well. Add remaining wings and repeat. Melt butter in saucepan; add hot sauce and vinegar. Pour mixture over wings. Serve with blue cheese dressing.

Blue cheese dressing: 1 c. mayo, 2 T. finely chopped onions, 1 t. finely chopped parsley, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 T. lemon juice, 1 T. vinegar, 1/4 c. crumbled blue cheese, salt and pepper. Combine and chill at least one hour before serving.
