3 pounds of pork back or side ribs
3 Tablespoons canola oil
1 package dry onion soup mix
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Cut ribs into serving size pieces and brown them in the oil. Combine all the other ingredients to make the sauce. Place browned ribs into a roaster and cover with the sauce. Cover and bake in oven for 11/2 to 2 hours. Check occasionally and rotate the ribs so they all get into the sauce, These can also be simmered on top of the stove in a heavy pot for the same length of time.
