Directions:
Add salt to egg whites; beat till soft peaks form. Slowly add sugar; beat till stiff peaks form. Fold in remaining ingredients (that means gently fold over so you don't lose all the air in the egg whites). Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake at 350º 15 to 18 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing from pan. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.

Personal Notes:
This is a great light cookie because aside from the chocolate chips, there is no fat. You can add a high fibre or protein cereal to make it even healthier. But, no-one would think it's anything but a delicious cookie. This is a recipe from my mum's old Better Homes and Gardens from when she was first married in the early '60's.
