1/4 C. butter
1 C. brown sugar
1 egg
1 C. Flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Melt butter over low heat in a medium size saucepan. Remove from heat & stir in sugar, blending well, cool. Stir in egg & flour that has been sifted with salt & baking powder. Spread into a well greased 8x8x2 pan. Bake for 20 to 25 min. Do Not Overbake

This is an old Betty Crocker recipe, and I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I've made these over the years! They are so good, & Billy just loves them.
