2 cups chopped or crushed pineapple (canned in juice; two 11oz cans)
3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the undrained pineapple, hoisin sauce and brown sugar in a blender and process until smooth. Transfer mixture to a medium saucepan and set over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, partially cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Let come to room temperature, then store in a plastic container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
