Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 - 30 oz jar Best Foods Mayonnaise (don't use any other kind)!
1 qt buttermilk (minus 2 oz. to make equal to mayonnaise)
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp celery salt
2 tsp garlic powder (optional if you don't want garlic breath)
1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients & put in fridge.

As this sits in the fridge the whey separates at the bottom. The white sauce is better if you don't stir the whey back into it. If you stir it up, it is pretty runny & not as good. Eric does stir this because he uses it as his salad dressing & it works better if it's a little runny.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Liana, Julie & Lindsay all had variations on this recipe but this is it - Liana found it in Grandma Bolton's recipe box.

This is used to "save" anything somebody doesn't really like, but has to eat! It adds just enough flavor to be okay! Great on mashed potatoes - make a "swimming pool" of them, add white sauce & then the "people" (corn) & enjoy!
Can be used in place of sour cream to tone down spicy food.
Makes a great veggie dip

Luke was always (still is) the official taste tester with a few tortilla chips:)
