1 pound hot sausage
1/2 pound ground chuck
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
2 loaves French bread
8 ounces Velveeta cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage and ground chuck just until the pink is gone. Drain and add onion and bell pepper. Season with oregano, salt and pepper, and let it continue to cook on low. Meanwhile, slice French bread lengthwise and scoop out the center of all four sides. Add these removed bread pieces to the meat along with the Velveeta cheese. Stuff the meat mixture into one side of both loaves and fold the tops over to make two long sandwiches. Spread butter lightly on top of both loaves, wrap ‘em in tinfoil, and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
