1 1/4 pounds tomatoes, seeded drained and chopped
1/4 cup beer (one that pairs well with chili or just your fave)
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 jalapenos, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Combine all ingredients in a large serving bowl and stir. Let stand for at least 2 hours; chill in refrigerator if desired. Make about 2 1/2 cups of salsa.
