1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Carnation evaporated milk
4 tsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together ingredients. Drop by tsp. onto cookie sheet. Flatten each cookie with crisscross by fork. Mom sometimes dipped the fork in sugar. It kept it from sticking and added a little sweetness.

Bake in 350º oven for about 15 minutes, but watch them carefully. Burnt peanut butter cookies still can be eaten, ask my husband.

You can use smooth or crunchy peanut butter. And again this is from the famous "little green box".
