1 1/2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
7 oz. can coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. realemon

Directions:

Mix well and pour ingredients into deep pie pan (double the recipe and use 9 x 13 casserole and add a little to baking time).

Bake at 350º for 40 to 50 minutes. Top should be like toasted coconut and center needs to be "set".

Hey Linda, remember the one dad set on top of the car just before going to a family reunion. Mom was upset she didn't get to take the dessert, but more upset over her favorite corningware casserole getting broken. This is from the "little green box".
