4 lbs spareribs
2 medium onions chopped
2 cups ketchup
2 cups water
2 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In large frying pan sautee onions in 1 tbsp oil then add ribs and brown the ribs on all sides. Place ribs and onions in roasting pan.

Put ketchup, water, vinegar and brown sugar in frying pan used to brown ribs and onions and cook on med heat about 5 minutes stirring constantly.

Pour ketchup mixture over ribs in roasting pan, make sure there is enough sauce to cover ribs almost completely and place in oven. If more sauce is required mix up 1/2 of the above amounts in frying pan and heat up for 5 minutes and pour over ribs.

Place roaster in oven and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours until ribs are tender and melt in your mouth yummy!
