1 1/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
6 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup dark molasses
1 cup cold coffee
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugar. Mix molasses & coffee. Add alternately with dry ingredients. Chill dough. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Bake 350 for 10-12 min. Ice with powdered sugar frosting.
