1 C corn meal
2 C boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T butter or margarine
1 beaten egg
1/4 C grated cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over corn meal and cook slowly for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add salt, butter, egg and cheese. Mix thoroughly. Drop a teaspoon at a time on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until lightly browned, in a 350º oven.
