1/2 c shortening
1/2 c sugar
1/2 brown sugar
1/2 c peanut butter
1 egg - unbeaten
1 1/2 c sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 pkg chocolate chips (12 oz)

Directions:
Directions:
Make cookie dough - mixing all ingredients together EXCEPT chocolate chips.
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler.
Divide dough in half. Roll out 1/2 of dough between two sheets of waxed paper. Spread 1/2 of the chocolate on dough. Roll up & chill for 10 minutes. Repeat with 2nd half of dough & chocolate.
Remove rolls from fridge and cut into 1/4" thick slices. Chill for 1 - 2 hours. Bake for 12 minutes at 375º.
