10 pound beef brisket
bottle of liquid smoke
4-5 bottles favorite barbecue sauce, store bought or homemade

Directions:

Poke holes in brisket with fork. Pour liquid smoke over brisket. Marinate for 6-8 hours. Wrap brisket tightly in heavy foil and put in roasting pan. Cook in oven at about 250 degrees for 12 to 15 hours or until very tender. Drain juice and trim fat. Cut across grain and chop the meat. Mix with barbecue sauce, put in crock pot, and heat through. Serve on hamburger buns with pickles and onions. Makes a lot. Freezes well.
