2 Cans (1 lb 11 oz each) Sauerkraut
1/4 c. Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
4-5 lb. Fresh Spareribs
Salt and Pepper to Taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sauerkraut and brown sugar in a large shallow baking pan. Cut the ribs into serving sizes and place on top of sauerkraut. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a slow 325°F oven for three hours, turning ribs occasionally to brown and crisp on both sides. Arrange around edge of heated serving platter. Spoon sauerkraut in middle.
