Ingredients:
Ingredients:
5 to 6 pounds Baby Back Ribs
3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces (I prefer thighs and drumsticks)
4 to 5 cups barbecue sauce
salt and pepper
garlic salt
celery salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring a big pot of water to boiling. Add ribs that have been cut into serving-size portions. Simmer for about 45 minutes. I add the chicken after 15 minutes, so that it cooks for 1/2 hour. Remove meat, place on a big pan, season with salt, pepper, garlic salt, and celery salt. Pour barbecue sauce over each piece, turn to cover all sides, and marinate at least an hour. Now, either hand them to the men to cook outside; or roast on racks in shallow roasting pans at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, then turn over, and roast another 10 to 15 minutes. Pour 1 cup of water into roasting pan below rack. I cover pans with foil. Ribs and chicken may be cooked and marinated the day before serving, and then refrigerated until final roasting.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This should be enough for up to 10 people. We have had them for many holidays.
I save some barbecue sauce for passing at the table. I have combined a bottle of KC Masterpiece sauce with Kraft light barbecue sauce and like the combination. You need to mix them well.
