1 prepackaged hunk of smoked salmon ( about 4"x 2")
2 containers whipped cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped fresh dill
3 Tablespoons of capers
1 lemon,cut in half, half zested and squeezed and the rest sliced for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Shred the salmon finely and remove any skin or tough pieces. Place in a bowl. Mix the entire carton of cream cheese into the salmon with about a teaspoon of lemon juice and a few pinches of the zest. Mix in the capers. Form a ball with the mixture. Chop the dill finely. Roll the ball in the dill to cover the ball. Wrap the ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate a few hours. When serving place the unwrapped ball on a pretty glass platter and decorate the plate with the extra lemon slices, some dill fronds, some extra capers in a little pile... and surround with crackers,bagel chips,small rye or pumpernickel rounds and a small spreader to serve.
