4 CUPS LUKEWARM WATER
2 PKG. YEAST
1 CUP SUGAR
1/2 CUP CRISCO (OR WESSON OIL)
1 TBSP.. SALT
12 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR (sift four before measuring)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all except flour. Then stir in 1 cup flour at a time. Be sure to work all the flour in, let rise to double size.

Work down- Let rise again double in size.

Turn dough out on board

Cut into loaf size alls with sharp knife.

Let dough rest on board, covered with towel for 10 minutes.

Form dough into loaves, put into pans

Cover and let rise double in bulk

Bake 1 hour at 350º
