Fruited Country Spare Ribs Recipe

12 Country Spare Ribs (the fat ones)
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 green onions, chopped
1-3 1/2 oz. can pineapple chunks, drained
2 firm bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º.

Cut ribs in serving pieces. Mix 1st 3 ingredients together & add to ribs in baking pan (9" x 13" or lasagna pan or something similar). Cover with foil.

Bake 325º for 2 hours total.
After 1 1/2 hours, remove foil, spoon off fat and add pineapple and bananas.
10 mins after removing foil & adding fruit, baste to keep moist, then continue baking for the 2 full hours.

This is great served over rice...it is a sweet & tangy dish.
Corn on the cob makes a good side.
