2 med. onions fine chopped, 2 green peppers fine chopped, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 C water, 1 C cider vinegar, 1/2 C ketchup, 1/2 C packed brown sugar, 1/4 C butter- cut up, 2 T Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp salt, 2 wild rabbits cut up

Preheat oven to 300º. In sauce pan, combine all ingredients except rabbit. Cook over med heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes. Arrange rabbit pieces in single layer in 9 x 13 pan. Pour sauce over rabbit. Bake 2 1/2- 3 hours, turning occasionally, baking until tender.
