2 lb. beef chuck steak cubed
cooking oil
1 med. onion
3 oz. mushrooms
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 c. dry red wine
1 tsp. oregano
salt & pepper
Garlic salt
Cooked noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and onions in cooking oil. Drain. Drain mushroom juice into measuring cup- add water to make 1 cup. Combine that with all ingredients except noodles. Bake covered at 350º about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms last 30 minutes of cooking time. Serve over noodles.

This was one of my favorites that mom fixed. She always used the thick egg noodles or homemade ones.
