Beef Stroganoff Recipe

1 lb. round steak cut in 1/2" cubes
1/2 c. chopped onion (med)
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 T. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter
Cram of chicken soup
1/2 can water
8 oz. can mushroom
1/2 cup sour cream
4 cups hot buttered noodles

Combine salt, pepper, garlic powder and flour. coat beef cubes with this mixture. Brown in butter with onions, until onions are tender. Stir in soup and water. Cook for 1 hour over medium heat or until meat is tender. Stir occasionally. Add mushrooms at about 1/2 of cooking time. Remove from heat - stir in sour cream just before ready to serve. Serve over hot, buttered noodles.
