3/4 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour, sifted
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. soda
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. angel flake coconut
1 (16 oz.) jar apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Cream together margarine and sugar. Add dry ingredients (mixture will be crumbly). Mix in nuts and coconut. Press 4 cups of mixture into the bottom of a 9x13- inch glass baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven. Spoon on preserves and crumble remaining mixture on top. Bake again for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool then cut into squares.
