3 cups Port wine
6 cups cranberry juice
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
Cherries, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and allow flavors to blend at least 3 hours before serving. It's perfect as is, or you could add a small can of gingerale or orange soda, etc. before serving to give it a little fizz.

Alyce Flowers shared this recipe. Whenever we'd get together, she was always the one we wanted to bring the sangria. She made gallons of it for her daughter Sarah's wedding reception on the porch at Carnton Plantation. Ethan and Becca (Alyce's youngest daughter) were still in middle school at the time and they seemed suspiciously happy
during the reception!
